Robot Programmer
"The Roboticist" In our Roboticist Program, students learn to program on FANUC industrial robots with a chance to earn additional experience programming up to 4 other brands of industrial robots. The class begins with the manufacturing essentials including math, electrical, and motor control & drives. Once the foundation is set, you'll begin working with robots to develop frames, learn file manipulation, perform different tasks based on I/O conditions, and utilize variables. In addition to programming the robot, you will learn about robotic power supplies, end of arm tooling, perform electrical maintenance and troubleshoot common issues. Upon completion, students should be well-versed in FANUC, but comfortable working with any robot they face in the field. Hours: 450 Price: $5,750 |
Controls
Technician This program is designed for students with little or no experience in PLC and controls to equip you with the programming and troubleshooting skills that will add value in any facility. The practical and real-world applications prepare students with foundational understanding of plant operations and common manufacturing systems. The Controls Technician program begins with the manufacturing essentials before moving into more advanced prerequisite courses including pneumatics, electronics, sensors, VFD, RFID and robot programming. Once introduced to the PLC, you'll progress through labs that range from basic to advanced programming simulating real applications, troubleshooting and HMI Programming. Hours: 530 Price: $6,750 |
Industrial Maintenance Technician
After completing this training program, students will understand how industrial machinery and equipment operate, how to maintain the equipment and provide the type of preventative maintenance that will keep the process running smoothly. The program begins with manufacturing essentials including blueprint reading, electrical fundamentals and motor controls & drives that set the right foundation before moving into courses in basic mechanical systems, fluid power and basic robot and PLC programming. Students are introduced to skills for diagnosing, troubleshooting and repairing the most common equipment problems. The course culminates with the rigging, teardown and assembly of a large industrial robot. Hours: 370 Price: $4,750 |
Automation Foundation
This brief 10-day course is intended to provide the essentials for anyone who's considering a career in advanced manufacturing. If you know nothing about the industry or not sure which role excites you most, this program is a great introduction for you. Students will learn about workplace safety, build foundations in math and blueprint reading, receive a high-level overview of quality, lean strategies and industrial automation with a brief introduction to robotics and controls. Upon completion, all students receive their OSHA 10 card.
